20 years of Sandhustlers

March 05, 2005 was the day Art Gonzalez Jr. opened the doors of the first shop in Bonita, CA. His dream was to offer the off-road industry customers another choice of clothing and off-road parts at a much lower price than the "big guys". 20 years later, Art is still designing clothing. Even thought Sandhustlers does not have brick and mortar retail stores anymore, Sandhustlers still thrives on internet sales. Art works out of his house, where he designs and ships the clothing. Designing clothing is his passion. It's not for the money or the fame, but a another choice for off-roaders.

Art's dream was to be a professional race truck racer/driver, but after unfortunate injuries, including a broken back, he was 86'd from off-road activities. So he still designs clothing as a hobby and  due to the off-road passion. 

You will occasionally see Art cruising around the desert in his Can Am X3 or quad. If you run into him, say hi, who knows, he may give you a t-shirt.
